Gaming and streaming setup

What you need

Size
Check the wall in your webcam view first: 24 to 36 in suits most desks and leaves space around the sign in the frame. Over a wide desk, aim for about two-thirds of the desk width.
Color
Color changing (RGB) lets you match the sign to your lighting or your game with the touch remote. For a single color, turquoise, pink and purple stand out on a dark wall.
Backboard
A black board frames the letters and looks clean on camera; clear acrylic cut to shape suits a light wall.
Mounting
No-drill adhesive mounts suit a rented room with a smooth wall; standoffs are steadier on a textured wall. Mount the sign above the monitor line so your head does not hide it.
Power
The adapter plugs into the same outlet or power strip as the rest of the setup. A remote dimmer lets you change the brightness without leaving the chair.
When to order
Production takes 15 to 20 days after you approve the free proof, then 3 to 5 days in transit. Launching a channel on a set date? Add rush production.

How it comes together

  1. Open your webcam and look at the wall behind you.
  2. Pick a ready-made design, or type your gamer tag or channel name.
  3. Choose the width so the sign fits the frame with space around it.
  4. Pick a color, or color changing (RGB) to match your setup.
  5. Approve the free proof.
  6. Mount it above the monitor line and route the cable behind the desk.
  7. Test it on camera and set the brightness.

Tip: Test the sign on camera before you go live. If you see bands or flicker, raise the brightness a step or change your camera's shutter speed.
