Party and birthday neon signs you can use again
A party sign is the one decoration you keep. Hang it on the backdrop for a birthday, take it down afterwards, and bring it out again next year.
The ready-made designs cover the usual reasons to celebrate: Happy Birthday in hot pink script, Let's Party in golden yellow, Oh Baby in light pink for baby showers and gender reveals, Merry Christmas in red with a green holly sprig, and Good Times in retro orange. Each comes in widths from 20 to 60 in, single color or color changing (RGB), and another color can be asked for on the proof. For a name, an age or a theme, make your own in the designer.
For a balloon wall or a backdrop frame, choose ceiling hanging cables: the snap hooks clip into the holes in the board and the cable grippers let you level the sign. Check the power before the day. A sign plugs into a wall outlet through its adapter, and a DC extension cable adds 6.5 to 16 ft if the outlet is far away. In a park, in a hall without a nearby outlet or on a photo booth table, the battery box runs the sign for about 4 to 5 hours per set of 8 AA batteries.

- Take a test photo with the sign on and set the dimmer until the letters look sharp.

How big should a birthday backdrop sign be?
Choose a width that leaves a clear margin on each side of the backdrop; for a balloon wall or a backdrop frame, 30 to 36 in is a good place to start. On a table or a cake stand, 20 to 24 in is enough. The party backdrop guide has layouts.
Can the sign run without an outlet?
Yes, with the battery box. Eight AA batteries run a sign for about 4 to 5 hours, so bring a second set for a long party. Batteries are not included.
