Battery Box for LED Neon Signs, 8 x AA, Cordless

Some of the best places for a neon sign have no outlet nearby: a sweetheart table in the middle of the room, a photo booth, a market stall, a dessert table at a backyard party. This battery box powers the sign there instead. It holds eight AA batteries, which together make 12 V, has an on/off switch, and ends in a DC barrel plug that goes into the sign.

One set of eight AA batteries runs a sign for about 4 to 5 hours, enough for a reception or an evening event. A fresh set gives another 4 to 5 hours. Batteries are not included, so bring a spare set for a long day.

Tips for events:

• put in a fresh set of batteries just before guests arrive
• switch it off between uses
• hide the box behind the sign, a flower arrangement or a table runner
• use the plug-in adapter whenever an outlet is close enough

A larger sign has more tube to light, so for a very wide sign ask us before you plan on batteries.

It works with our 12 V LED neon signs. It is not for glass neon, which needs a high-voltage transformer.
