Photos

Photos illustrate the product type.
A neon sign with your names gives the wedding backdrop a center and gives you something to keep. Type your first names, your shared last name, the date or a short phrase into the designer on this page, choose a font and a color, and see the layout before you order.
It works behind the sweetheart table, on a flower wall, above the bar or at the photo booth. Afterwards it comes home and hangs over the bed or in the hallway.
Warm white and white read best in wedding photos, and script fonts are the usual choice. Use up to three lines, for example your names on the first line and the date below, each in its own color if you like.
The lettering is a flexible silicone LED neon tube pressed into a groove routed in clear acrylic about 1/4 in (6 mm) thick, so the words seem to float with little board around them. It runs on 12 V DC. If there is no outlet near your table, choose the 8 x AA battery box as well as the plug: one set of batteries runs the sign for about 4 to 5 hours.
Every sign comes with the backboard, a remote or in-line dimmer, the mounting kit you choose (ceiling cables for a backdrop frame, wall standoffs, no-drill mounts or a free-standing base) and the plug-in adapter.
Plan early. We send a free design proof first, with free revisions, and make nothing until you approve it. Standard production is 15 to 20 days after approval, plus 3 to 5 days in transit; rush production is sold separately if the date is close. The sign is covered for 2 years with free repair.
How to choose
Measure the backdrop first. Behind a sweetheart table, 30 to 36 in fills the space without hiding the two of you, and a sign about two thirds as wide as the table looks balanced; on a large flower wall or arch, 42 to 60 in reads from the back of the room. Allow about 2 in of width per character on the longest line, so “Anna & James” (12 characters) needs about 24 in.
Warm white or white in a script font is the classic choice and photographs well; turn it down with the dimmer if it looks too bright on camera.
For a backdrop frame or an arch, choose ceiling hanging cables; for a solid wall, standoffs. If the table has no outlet nearby, add the battery box. Choose the outdoor build only for an open-air ceremony that could see rain.
Questions
What size wedding neon sign should we get?
Behind a sweetheart table, 30 to 36 in is a good size; for a large backdrop or arch, 42 to 60 in. Allow about 2 in of width per character on the longest line.
What affects the price?
The width, color changing (RGB) and the outdoor build. Your font, a date line, a color per line, the backboard, the mounting kit, the dimmer and the battery box option cost nothing extra; rush production is an optional add-on.
When should we order?
Count back from the date: time to approve the proof, 15 to 20 days of production and 3 to 5 days in transit, plus a margin. The days count from your approval, so reply to the proof quickly; if time is short, add Priority (10 to 14 days) or Express (7 to 9 days) rush production.
How does the proof work?
After checkout we email a mockup of your sign with your names, and the date if you add one, drawn as tube paths at the exact size. Change the font, color or layout as often as you like; nothing is made until you approve it.
There is no outlet near our table. Can it run on batteries?
Yes. Choose the plug-in adapter plus the 8 x AA battery box. One set of batteries runs the sign for about 4 to 5 hours, so put in a fresh set just before the reception.
How do we hang it on a backdrop?
Choose ceiling hanging cables. The cables hang from the frame, the snap hooks clip into the 1/4 in holes in the board, and the grippers slide to level the sign.
Will it look good in photos?
Warm white and white read best in wedding photos. If the sign looks too bright or washed out on a phone camera, turn it down with the dimmer. See neon signs in photos and video.
Can we use it at home afterwards?
Yes. The same 1/4 in holes take our standoff kit, ceiling cables and no-drill mounts, so you can hang it a different way at home.
