Heart Neon Sign, Red LED Heart Wall Light

A red heart, drawn as an outline in LED neon. With no words to read, it fits almost anywhere: above a bed or a dorm desk, on a salon selfie wall, among the frames of a gallery wall or behind the cake at a wedding.

Because the heart is a solid shape, the tube traces its outline rather than filling it, and the clear acrylic board follows the heart with a smooth margin. The tube is flexible silicone with rounded ends and smooth curves, set into a groove routed in acrylic about 1/4 in thick.

A heart is roughly as tall as it is wide, so think of the width as its overall size: 20 in is a compact accent, 30 in holds a wall on its own, and 48 or 60 in makes a backdrop for photos.

In a dorm or a rental, choose no-drill adhesive mounts. Each has a clear adhesive base plate and a stud that passes through the board's 1/4 in hole, with a cap that screws on. They hold best on smooth, sealed surfaces such as sealed paint, tile or glass. Textured or freshly painted walls hold less, so wall standoffs are the better choice there.

The sign runs on 12 V DC from a plug-in adapter, comes with a dimmer and draws little power. Red is pictured; pink, white or any of our 18 tube colors can be requested on the free proof. Above a twin bed or a dorm desk, 20 or 24 in is plenty. Over a larger bed, or as the centre of a gallery wall, choose 30 or 36 in. For a salon selfie wall or a wedding backdrop where people stand in front of it, go to 48 or 60 in.

Red is the classic. Pink feels softer in a bedroom, and warm white suits a wedding.

Use no-drill mounts on smooth, sealed walls, wall standoffs everywhere else, and ceiling cables if it hangs in a window or from a backdrop frame. Keep to the indoor build unless the heart will live outside.
